About the Designer...
MayaFont Foundry is founded by Mohan Samarasinghe who has worked in commercial logo and graphic design and personal type and font design for many years since 2004. Today, the foundry would like to share these carefully crafted fonts with a wider audience. Typefaces shaped by deep appreciation for good design across print and digital media, sits at the intersection of artistry and design.
He is a surgeon by profession. He loves photography, painting and he has a keen eye for good design. He enjoys creating great typefaces.
All his fonts are named after his daughter, Maya.
The Script Ro 75 typeface (also known as Roma) was designed and by Ransmayer & Rodrian (RaRo), a German company from berlin specializing in typewriter slugs. Founded by Alfred Ransmayer and Albert Rodrian, they were the leading supplier of typefaces to major typewriter manufacturers such as Olympia, Adler, and Triumph who purchased the Ro 75 slugs to offer as a premium typeface option on their machines and rebranded for marketing purposes.
I have created this font inspired by Ro 75. However this is not a monospaced as it was in original typewriters. Its properly kerned to give the best readability.

Maya Roma 75 Script Font
The Script Ro 75 typeface (also known as Roma) was designed and manufactured by Ransmayer & Rodrian (RaRo), a prominent German company specializing in typewriter type slugs. Founded by Alfred Ransmayer and Albert Rodrian, the company operated out of Berlin and became a leading supplier of typefaces to major European and global typewriter manufacturers. Unlike many computer fonts designed by a single independent artist, typewriter typefaces like Ro 75 were often developed by industrial font foundries like RaRo and then licensed to machine manufacturers. Major companies such as Olympia, Adler, and Triumph purchased the Ro 75 slugs from RaRo to offer as a premium font option on their machines. While RaRo officially designated the design as Ro 75 or Roma, it was rebranded by various manufacturers for marketing purposes.
There has been few attempts to recreate this beatiful type face as a modern font in the past. However, since there has been lacking of clean polished properly kerned font, we have done just that.
Maya Indigo Geometric Font
Discover a unique geometric font inspired by quantic dream's popular video game: indigo prophecy / fahrenheit's title font style.
After scouring thought the inter-webs to find the font they used and only to be disappointed; I have made this font to play homage to the original style but with expanded glyph set and multiple styles including thin, regular and bold weights and italic variants of each weight will expand the creative boundary massively. Both uppercase and lowercase letters are used in such a way that there are two styles of 'I' is available to choose from according the design language you are going for. All letters are having a uniform stem width to be able to use any combination of uppercase and lower case letters or use as it is as small caps.
